Behind the colour palette

Our colours came before almost anything else. We wanted a palette that felt like a bright day by the water: warm, a little playful, and never shouty.

Four colours, one cream

Vermilion orange is the ray: warmth, energy and the first thing you notice. Cornflower blue is the tide: calm, deep and steady. Soft lilac sits between them, and a small golden yellow sun appears wherever something needs a little lift. Warm cream holds everything together.

Colour is at its best when it has room to breathe.

Used with restraint

You will notice the colours appear in small doses: a dot of paint on a stud, a stone in a ring, a thread in a bracelet. That restraint is deliberate. A small amount of colour, worn often, goes a long way.
