Jewellery care

• Put jewellery on last, after perfume, lotion and hairspray.
• Take it off first: before washing, swimming, exercise or sleep.
• Keep pieces dry, and wipe off any moisture straight away.

Wipe each piece gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid chemical cleaners, abrasive cloths and ultrasonic cleaners, especially on painted or coloured details.

Store pieces separately in their pouch or a lined dish so they do not scratch each other. Lay chains flat or hang them to prevent tangles, and keep earrings together in pairs.

Painted and coloured elements are the most delicate part of many designs. Keep them away from water and creams, and avoid knocking them against hard surfaces.
